V-COIL INSERT REFILL PACKS

Description

DIN 8140, Tolerance 2B for use with V-Coil thread repair taps.
Manufactured from high quality chromium nickel stainless steel. Provide high
precision threads that resist temperature and corrosion. Ideal for producing
higher strength threads in softer materials such as aluminium. Compact size
allows incorporation into existing designs where no previous provision has been
made. V-Coil free running inserts have a spring like appearance. In the
free-state they are greater in diameter than the tapped hole into which they are
installed. Once fitted, their position is maintained by radial pressure between
the coils and the tapped hole. Sizes are quoted to match the size of the screws
e.g. M10 x 1.5mm, for use with an M10 diameter screw with a 1.5mm thread pitch).
