MDPE stands for medium density polyethylene and is used in underground and cold water applications. MDPE is a robust and flexible thermoplastic that is noted for its durability. It is chemically resistant and inhibits the growth of bacteria, fungi, and algae, making it ideal for delivering clean (potable) water.

Blue and Black MDPE pipes for the underground transportation of water. Our Blue MDPE pipes are rated to PE80 and 12.5 bar, while our Black MDPE pipes are rated to PE100 and 16 bar. All of our MDPE pipes comply with BS EN12201 and are WRAS approved.
