ADMINISTRATION/PURCHASING ASSISTANT
Role:
General office administration, customer liaison and supplier verification, banking and purchasing/sales ledger.
Experience:
Possess a high level of numeracy, excellent IT skills, have strong organisation and communication skills along with a professional approach with the ability to build working relationships with internal and external customers/suppliers at all levels. A good working knowledge of banking, purchasing/sales ledger would be an advantage.
COUNTER/WAREHOUSE OPERATIVE
Role:
Providing sales assistance to the trade counter, maintaining excellent customer service, order picking and general warehouse/stock replenishment duties as and when required.
Experience:
A positive personality, high level of numeracy, good IT skills, excellent customer service awareness. Product knowledge would be an advantage, although product training will be provided.

WAREHOUSE AND TRADE COUNTER MANAGER
The Role:
Working with the Logistics Manager, you will take joint responsibility for the effective day-to-day running of all aspects of a busy Warehouse and Trade Counter operation and provide leadership & direction to area Team Leaders & Warehouse Staff.
Through the Team Leaders you will ensure workforce planning at the required skill and manning level is available on a day-to-day basis. You will review and optimise processes and resources to ensure a high level of customer service is attained whilst complying with Quality and Health & Safety standards and legislation.
Skills, Knowledge and Experience:
You will be a good role model, coach and mentor, capable of creating a culture of positive change & continuous improvement. You should be able to demonstrate a track record of people management; ideally in a warehouse/stores environment.
You will be capable of delivering results through delegation & motivation of staff,
Have good communication and negotiation skills with a high level numaracy and be IT literate.
Knowledge of engineering or industrial products would be an advantage.
INTERNAL FASTENERS BUYER
The Role :
Buying fasteners and associated products from established supplier base as well as sourcing new suppliers and products. The maintenance of stock to agreed levels and raising quotations and the processing of these quotations.
Experience :
Candidates should possess a high level of numeracy have excellent IT skills and be able to work as part of a team. Strong communications and organisation skills are essential along with a professional approach and the ability to build business relationships with internal/external customers/suppliers at all levels.
PRODUCT ADVISORS - FASTENERS (REF 2309)
The Role:
To increase and maintain sales through being part of a co-ordinated sales team, responsibilities include the processing of customer orders and raising quotations.
Experience:
Relevant sales experience, competent with IT packages, excellent telephone manner, strong organisation and communication skills along with a professional approach and the ability to build working relationships at all levels.
